We know he's "just a walkaway Joe," but man is McConaughey dreamy.

You love Matthew McConaughey. You love Trisha Yearwood. What do you get when you combine this Texas-born actor and singer from Georgia? Quite the epic music video.

As we were reminded in a recent article from Wide Open Country, in 1992, Matthew McConaughey played a starring role in Trisha Yearwood's "Walkaway Joe" music video. Off of Yearwood's 1992 album Hearts in Armor, the single also features the vocals of singer and songwriter Don Henley, whom you may know as one of the founding members of the Eagles. In the music video, a 20-something McConaughey is seen cruising in the car and gallivanting about town and in a park with his love interest as Henley and Yearwood sing together in what appears to be an empty house. In one scene, you even see the young heartthrob go skinny-dipping. Watch the full music video below.

Interestingly, Yearwood didn't even meet McConaughey for the filming of this music video. In an interview with PEOPLE in 2014, Yearwood said, "He was cast from local talent in Austin, Tex., where the footage was shot. The performance with Don Henley was shot in Nashville, so I never met Matthew." A year after the music video was released, in 1993, the movie Dazed and Confused came out and McConaughey's ascent to fame began. “About 10 years ago, we were both at the Grammys and trying to connect but we kept missing each other–he was backstage when I was in the audience, and vice-versa," she also added in the 2014 PEOPLE interview. We're hoping that by now the two's paths have finally crossed.

Now, we don't know how you feel but after watching that video we're ready to give Hearts in Armor another spin and revisit some of our favorite Yearwood hits from the '90s. Who's ready to join us?
