After 65 years of marriage, three children, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, Rosie and Bill have lived a good life—some would even say a great one. But it's their love for each other that their granddaughter, photographer Megan Straight, finds most incredible.

"They still hug and kiss each other and are always together each time they leave the house," Straight told Yahoo Lifestyle. "My grandmother just had hernia surgery, and my grandfather has been by her side, making sure she is OK."

At 85 and 87 years old respectively, Rosie and Bill aren't getting any younger, which is why Straight felt strongly about photographing her grandma and pawpaw together while she could. Without telling either of them, Straight planned a photoshoot at a friend's property in Fairview, WV, not far from Fairmont, the town where they both were raised. She even bought Rosie a new dress for the covert photo session.

"It was a surprise, and we borrowed a truck from a neighbor because my papaw used to own one just like it," she told Yahoo. "He said it brought back a lot of memories."

During the shoot, Straight recalled that the couple had everyone "laughing so hard we were crying." It was Bill's idea to include the tractor, she noted.

When she shared the photos on her Facebook page, Fly Away Daisy Photography, the response was instantaneous. People adored the octogenarian love birds, and so do we. Currently, the post has more than 40,000 likes and 42,000 shares.

"The photos show the love they have for each other, and I am truly proud that they are my grandparents," said Straight.
