You Don’t Want to Miss Hallmark’s Spring Fever 2018 Lineup

Since we’ve already established that 2018 is going to be Hallmark Channel’s biggest and best year yet, it’s time to mark your calendar for the springtime event that kicks off the sunny season with blooming romance. We’re talking about the month-long bash, Spring Fever, that graces your television screens (and pulls at your heartstrings) from mid-March to early April. Get ready to celebrate the coming of spring with brand-new world premieres airing every Saturday starting March 17th. Here’s your rundown of the four new original Hallmark movies:
“The Sweetest Heart”
Premieres Saturday, March 17th
Starring Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally
Ten years after their long-distance relationship ended, high school sweethearts Maddie and Nate reconnect when Nate, who is now a cardiologist, returns to their hometown to lecture at the hospital. Still hurt from their breakup, cupcake shop owner Maddie tries to avoid him, while keeping her focus on securing funding to expand her shop. With Nate’s persistence, they eventually rekindle their romance as he helps her with the shop, only to be faced with one more life-changing decision.

Starring Joy Lenz and Will Kemp
Kate has a gift for matchmaking, and now her reputation as the “Queen of Hearts” has reached King Edward of Voldavia. He wants his son Prince Sebastian to present his future bride at the Jubilee, and brings Kate onboard to help. Soon it’s clear the Prince has a moat around his heart, but slowly Kate finds herself falling for Sebastian herself. Still, she’s bent on doing her job and introduces him to her top match, Petra. Who will win the Prince’s heart?
“Home by Spring”
Premieres Saturday, March 31st
Starring Poppy Drayton, Steven R. McQueen, Mary-Margaret Humes, and Kix Brooks
Aspiring event planner Loretta moves to Los Angeles from her small hometown to pursue her event planning dreams, leaving her boyfriend Wayne behind. When she is passed over for a promotion and a client mistakes Loretta for her boss, she decides to carry on the charade to win a piece of new business from the client. Loretta returns to her hometown to keep up the ruse, seeking help from Wayne and her mother. Before the weekend is over, Loretta must decide if she will confess who she really is to Paul and Arthur, and confess to herself where her heart really lies.

“Once Upon a Prince”
Premieres Saturday, April 7th
Starring Megan Park and Jonathan Keltz
Hallmark has yet to release any more information on this final Spring Fever original movie.

Don’t worry, some of your favorite Hallmark romances and shows will be filling the void from Saturday to Saturday, keeping us all from going stir crazy in anticipation of the next all-new movie. Later in the spring, you can gear up for another Hallmark Hall of Fame classic starring one of our favorite Southern ladies, Andie MacDowell. The world premiere will air on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, April 28th at 9 p.m.
