Attention, Hallmark Fans: Priscilla Presley Is Making a Special Guest Appearance in Wedding at Graceland
We've got all the details.
Hallmark fans, hold onto your horses. When we first heard that Christmas at Graceland, Hallmark Channel's number one flick during "Countdown to Christmas" last year, was coming back with a sequel, Wedding at Graceland, we went ahead and canceled all of our Saturday night plans in June. You know, just in case. Co-stars Kellie Pickler and Wes Brown are back, and they're tying the knot, y'all.
The highly anticipated sequel, airing June 1 as part of Hallmark's month-long June Weddings event, recently unleashed a few more surprises for us: A famed former Graceland occupant is making a very special guest cameo, and there's a fan celebration scheduled to go down at Graceland on May 18-19. That's right, Priscilla Presley is making her Hallmark Channel debut!
Priscilla Presley, who married Elvis Presley in 1967 and is the mother of his only child, Lisa Marie, helped bring Graceland back to life in 1982 by opening it to the public as a tourist attraction. What started as a simple tour of the King of Rock and Roll's Tennessee mansion has now become an entire world showcasing Elvis' vintage cars, airplanes, memorabilia, and more.
We caught up with Presley to discuss her Wedding at Graceland guest appearance, her favorite memories at Graceland, and what she loves about the South.
"To me, putting Hallmark and Graceland together is the perfect marriage," Presley told us. "And in the movie, I basically get to share advice on how to avoid getting caught up in all of the stress that comes along with getting married."
From someone who got hitched to one of the biggest performers of all time (in Las Vegas, no less), that's advice worth taking. You'll also be able to catch Presley showing Graceland's charming Chapel in the Woods and her iconic wedding dress.
When asked her favorite thing about Graceland, the former actress turned sentimental: "The memories. There's a lot of love here, and every time I walk in, it feels like I never left."
While the couple was married during the late 1960s and early 1970s, the duo lived at Graceland, and Ms. Presley remembers her time there fondly, citing memories like spending mornings horseback riding with her beau.
"He'd watch me ride my horse every morning around the grounds, and he decided he wanted to get a horse, too. Actually, he got more than just one horse! He loved to share his hobbies with everyone," Presley said. "He would get up and come out to the stables with me, and we'd go horseback riding and take care of the horses together. It was a special thing for us."

For Presley, it's safe to say that the South left memories worth revisiting. She went on to say, "Southerners have a way of welcoming you into their home, which is something I noticed when I first moved to Memphis. And when I come back, nothing has changed. There's always that Southern hospitality and warmth. The South will always hold a special place in my heart."
