Nashville Is Coming Back Sooner Than We Thought
We'll finally figure out what happened to you-know-who
The anticipation is almost over, Nashville fans! But you might not have to wait until January 5 to find out the fate of Juliette Barnes, whose plane went missing during the final moments of Season 4 (a.k.a. the cruelest cliffhanger ever).
CMT just announced that an hour-long sneak peek will air on December 15 at 9 p.m. ET. That's a whole three weeks ahead of the two-hour premiere. Christmas is coming early, y'all!
And speaking of Juliette Barnes, we get a glimpse of the panicked country star as her plane heads into severe turbulence in the new Season 5 trailer, followed later in the clip by a quick shot of Avery and Cadence standing in what appears to be a hospital. But it's not all doom and gloom. Rayna and Deacon are happily married and planning a new album together, Scarlett and Gunnar are making new music, Maddie is settling in at home, and Will seems to have a new boyfriend.
But let's get real—this is Nashville, so how long can it really last? Later in the video, Rayna's in tears, Deacon is yelling, Scarlett is threatening to slap Gunnar, and Maddie appears to be in over her head with a much older guy. Yep, it's the same old Nashville we know and love, just on a new network. Get ready for a wild ride!
