Luke Bryan has ears of sweet corn coming out of his… well, ears!

The country crooner revealed that he has found himself with a lot more time on his hands with his 2020 tour canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. So, against the advice of the ladies in his life, Bryan decided to occupy himself by planting sweet corn. A lot of sweet corn.

"Little tip for you guys: Never get bored during a pandemic and plant four acres of sweet corn,” a sweaty Bryan told his followers as he lugged a bucket of corn in a video shared to Instagram video (below) last week.

The comments quickly rolled in, but two in particular caught the eye of eagle-eyed fans.

"Maybe you will start listening to your mama.” Bryan's mother LeClaire Bryan wrote alongside the video of her exasperated son.

His wife Lina also chimed in with a similar sentiment. “I told you that y’all planted too much,” she commented.

While it might look like a rookie mistake, Bryan is no stranger to life farm life. Inspired by his own experience growing up on a farm in Georgia, Bryan has been hosting his Farm Tour since 2010 as a way to give back to local farming communities. Proceeds raised from the annual concert series went to a scholarship fund for students from farming families to help them attend college.

Sadly, this year’s farm tour was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, but Bryan promised fans that it will be back next year.

As least he’ll have plenty of corn to keep him busy until then!
