Today, Erika Gifford took to Instagram to share the news that she and Kathie Lee's son, Cody, welcomed a healthy baby boy on Tuesday. "At a whopping 8lbs 8oz three weeks early, Frank Michael Gifford, 'Frankie' has changed our lives forever. We have not stopped bursting with so much love and gratitude for God's most precious gift." "Thank you so much to all of you for your prayers and sweet messages," she added. "He's so SO cute and we can't get enough of all of the snuggles from this lil' guy. We are sincerely obsessed." Shortly after, Kathie Lee shared the news on her own Instagram account. "My heart is bursting," the former Today host wrote alongside a photo of the young family. "Frank Michael Gifford is here, confirming that our God is good and merciful and faithful. And he loves us!" On Twitter, Kathie Lee called her first grandchild "8 lbs. 8 oz. of sheer beauty." Kathie Lee, who lost her husband Frank in 2015, celebrated the nuptials of both her children in the summer of 2020: her daughter Cassidy wed fiancé Ben Wierda in June, while her son Cody, married Erika over Labor Day weekend.
