WATCH: You Won't Believe What Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Has Planned Next
Blender for frozen drinks probably included.
Is there anything Jimmy Buffett can't do? The country crooner's Margaritaville already has a successful line of hotels, vacation resorts, and restaurants where you can channel that five o'clock ethos all day long.
Now, the 70-year-old Misissippi native is branching into the retirement community space. Buffett has teamed up with Minto Communities to create what's being called "Latitude Margaritaville."
If you're "55 and better," their first Daytona Beach, Florida community is slated to be ready by late summer 2018. The second retiree Shangri-La will open in Hilton Head, South Carolina. More communities are in talks, as well.
For those looking to adapt the ocean is my only medication lifestyle, two- and three- bedroom homes are expected to start in the low $200,000s to $350,000. Beyond the pools and gyms, Good Morning America notes that these idyllic retirement coves will include live entertainment, spas, and personal beachfront access.
No word yet on the Cheeseburger in Paradise situation.
