Hoda Kotb's 6-month-old daughter hasn't quite got the hang of crawling yet. But, she's certainly making progress in getting mobile, as shown in the recent video the TODAY Show co-host and Oklahoma native shared on Monday, August 7, of Haley Joy rocking back and forth on her hands and knees while playing on the floor.

To show her how it's done, Kotb's black and white Cockapoo, Blake, gave the baby a gently nudging from behind. Not only that, the ridiculously cute rescue pup encouraged her even further, jumping up and down as if to "applaud" Haley Joy for her crawling efforts. The affection, however, didn't just stop there. Kotb's boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, also planted a big kiss of appreciation on her forehead.

Check out the awe-inspiring moment in the video below. It's proof that even if you can't teach an old dog new tricks, maybe he can still teach a baby a few new ones.

"Here's the best we can do with Haley crawling—she can crawl," Hoda said on the TODAY Show when airing the video.
