Tarek El Moussa made a name for himself on the HGTV reality show Flip or Flop so it shouldn't be that surprising that he is open to appearing on another reality show—The Bachelor.

El Moussa has been at the heart of a lot of HGTV drama since announcing his divorce from his wife of seven years and his Flip or Flop co-star, Christina El Moussa in January. Now, as El Moussa's off-camera life has settled down and Flip or Flop has been renewed for 20 episodes, he is trying to get used to his new life as a single man. "I've really never been single before, believe it or not," he told E! News. "It's a whole new life and I am having a lot of fun. I'm just a free spirit, I'm happy. I love going on dates, I like meeting girls."

If that sounds like a recipe for a reality TV show, E! News is way ahead of you. They asked El Moussa if he would consider appearing on ABC's The Bachelor when he was ready to settle down again, and he seemed very receptive to the idea. "I would be open to that," he responded. "Yeah, I would absolutely be open to that… 20 women? No problem."

The dates could involve renovating houses around the world, choosing carpet samples and wall coverings, and offering home flipping tips to the contestants' families, whether they want them or not.

Whoever El Moussa gives his final rose to, they would have to get along with Christina. After all, she is both his co-star and the mother his two children. "The kids are number one," said El Moussa. "And to do the best we can as parents for our kids we have to get along." If The Bachelor doesn't work out, perhaps El Moussa could appear on Super Nanny.
