"We love these people."
Although the fifth and final season of Fixer Upper doesn’t premiere until November 21, Chip and Joanna Gaines gave their voracious fans a glimpse of their last signature home reveal on Friday, November 3.
On that same day, the husband-wife home design duo were also busy shooting the last episode of season five of their hit HGTV series. The hosts took to Instagram to post a bittersweet farewell to their combined 7 million followers.
"We definitely felt the emotion behind each of those steps leading up to the big canvas," Joanna captioned the photo. "We love you Fixer Upper. Season premieres on November 21."
No, we’re not crying. You are.
However, before bidding the production crew a heartfelt adieu, the Fixer Upper staff had their own surprising way to say goodbye to the Waco-based couple. Chip captured the sweet send-off from the cheering crowd on camera, and you can take a look at the celebratory moment below.
While there were no visible tears shed by Chip and Jo during their grand exit through balloons, confetti, and smiling staffers, you could still sense the appreciation these two have for the people who have worked alongside them on every home remodel and renovation.
"We made it to the finish line," Joanna captioned the Instagram video. "We love these people."
