Country Star Lainey Wilson Joins Cast of 'Yellowstone'

Season five is shaping up to be one for the ages.

Yellowstone is going (even more) country!

Deadline reports that singer Lainey Wilson is set to join the cast of Taylor Sheridan's hit series as a musician named Abby.

The country star celebrated the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself on set in Montana with the iconic Dutton Ranch in the background.

"See y'all on season 5 of Yellowstone," Wilson captioned the post.

Wilson, a native of Baskin, Louisiana, took home two ACM Awards in 2021: New Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for her chart-topping single, "Things a Man Oughta Know."

Also joining the cast for the upcoming season is American Horror Story's Kai Caster, who will play a cowboy named Rowdy. Deadline also confirmed that Josh Lucas will, in fact, be returning as a young John Dutton.

Yellowstone season five is set to premiere on Paramount Network on November 13. It will be an extra-long season of 14 episodes, airing in two, seven-episode sections.
