Our Favorite Christmas Kitchens

No matter what season, the kitchen is always the heart of the home. While we focus our attention on other seasonal spots–trimming the Christmas tree, hanging festive wreaths on front doors, setting sophisticated holiday tables, decorating our merry mailboxes–we often forget the space in the home where we spend so much time. In the kitchen, we're prepping the turkey, baking holiday cookies, gathering around the breakfast table with family. If we are spending so much time in the kitchen, we must make sure it feels festive and bright. Cue the lights, linens, platters, and more. Our collection of Christmas décor ideas will help you make the heart of your home holiday-ready. They will also add more joy and merriment to your home without getting in the way of your Christmas treat- baking plans.

Subtle Touches

Tiny touches (like the wreath hanging in the window, an arrangement of wintry sticks on the island) are just enough holiday decor for a high-traffic area.

Beautiful Banquette

An upholstered bench is the best place for cozying up on Christmas morning. Two Parsons-style end chairs sport deep purple slipcovers very an extra-luxe touch.

When the kitchen opens into your family room, it's important for the decor to carry through. Here, the kitchen’s colors worked their way into the decorations like the blue and red wreath and gold and green Christmas tree.

This streamlined kitchen leans on green to warm up the cool color palette. Silver wreaths play off the appliances, almost as if the dishwasher is part of the seasonal décor.
