Anna Mazurek is a freelance writer, photographer, and vagabond based in Austin, Texas. She has a master’s degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri and her undergraduate degree is from the University of South Carolina. She writes for travel magazines like AFAR and shoots for corporate clients like Facebook (Meta). She teaches photojournalism and business courses at Texas State University and workshops at the University of Texas at Austin. For five summers, she led student photo trips throughout India and Southeast Asia and is currently a photo instructor for Lindblad/National Geographic Expeditions. A college semester abroad sparked her love of travel and photography. Since then, she's been to 58 countries and lived in five.
