Make it easy for guests to find their seats by stenciling table numbers directly onto drop cloths from the hardware store!

1. Create the stencils. Print out numbers in various sizes and fonts. Next, secure the stencil film over the printout. Then place the stencil film and paper onto a cutting board, and use the craft knife to cut a stencil for each number.

2. Prepare the drop cloth. Iron the wrinkles out of each drop cloth. (Note: If you plan to re-use the cloths, wash and pre-shrink them before ironing.)

3. Paint by number. Lightly spray stencil adhesive on each stencil, press on tablecloth, and apply paint. Lift and repeat, alternating the different number typefaces. Finish by marking off a border with tape and filling it in with paint.
