Located about 25 miles from Shreveport (and spreading into Texas), Caddo Lake is one of the South's largest natural lakes. Its 26,800 acres of freshwaters and cypress swamp are home to largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish. The best place to drop a line, and enjoy the fall colors, is from Caddo State Park in Karnack.
