Still single? Consider moving here

New Year’s Eve is quickly approaching, and if you’re flying solo again this year, don’t blame yourself—especially if you live in Brownsville, Texas. According to a new ranking by WalletHub, the southernmost city in Texas is least desirable place in the U.S. for singles.

But that certainly isn’t the case for many other cities throughout the South, like Austin, Atlanta, and Houston, all of which landed in the top 20 out of 150.

So how did WalletHub determine the results? They analyzed three categories: economics, demographics, and opportunities for fun and romance. Each location was given an overall score based on these categories, with 1 being the highest and 150 being the lowest.

If you’re still looking for love, here are six Southern cities to which you might want to consider relocating, all of which made the 20:

  • Orlando, FL
  • Austin, TX
  • Miami, FL
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Houston, TX
  • Dallas, TX

So how did your city stack up?
