Savannah Music Festival
Every March another local musical event introduces audiences to sounds from around the world. The Savannah Music Festival helps kick off the city's famous St. Patrick's Day celebration by presenting performers who span the musical globe. In addition to offering dozens of musicians, singers, and dancers, the festivals also feature workshops and lectures. The 2009 Savannah Music Festival ends April 5th. St. Patrick's Day in...
Savannah goes seriously green each spring, hosting the second-largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the country (this year on Tuesday, March 17). Dubbed the "Hostess City of the South," Savannah has earned its reputation for good times. There is food, fun, and live music aplenty down along River Street and at City Market.
