Georgia Sea Turtle Center

Visit the state’s only rescue and rehabilitation facility to learn about the endangered sea turtles that visit this coast. During the nesting months of summer (June and July), the center leads nightly turtle walks. Once the turtles hatch in August, the center gives hatchling walks at dawn a few times each week; the concluding date depends on the season. www.georgiaseaturtlecenter.org or (912) 635-4444 ($12 nonmembers, $6 members).
