• Hundreds of thousands pour into D.C. each year for the annual A
Capitol Fourth celebration. You'll be surprised by the deals you can

• To get a free ticket for a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol Building,
visit the Capitol Guide Service kiosk. Ticket distribution begins at 9
a.m., but be sure to get there early.
• You can get a White House tour, but it takes an act of Congress.

• Order your Washington Monument tickets in advance at
www.recreation.gov or 1-877-444-6777. You'll pay a $1.50 service charge
for each ticket, but that beats standing in line. Distribution of free
tickets begins at 8:30 a.m. at the kiosk at the base of the
monument.
• Order advance tickets for the International Spy Museum at
www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-551-7328. There is an additional fee of
$3.80 per ticket.
