Stay for Sunday
David Family Kitchen ([501] 371-0141) serves the perfect eye-opener complete with two fluffy pancakes, crisp bacon, and buttery eggs for only $3.99. It opens at 6 a.m., giving you plenty of time to make it to an 8:30 a.m. church service.
But not just any church. Little Rock has its very own Cathedral of St. Andrew's downtown. You'll feel at home inside this gorgeous Gothic-style structure where around 1,200 families worship on Sundays.
Then hitch a ride in a restored streetcar. For only 50 cents, the River Rail Streetcar Line takes you on a 15-minute tour. It picks up every 15 minutes from the River Market, the Statehouse Convention Center, and the Robinson Auditorium. It's a great way to catch a glimpse of the past while riding into Little Rock's blindingly bright future.
Rhythm in the Rock
Strike up the band at these hot music spots around town.

Cajun's Wharf, 2400 Cantrell Road; (501) 375-5351. This seafood restaurant churns out the hits on weekends with its energetic dance floor and DJ booth.
Ernie Biggs, 307 President Clinton Avenue; (501) 372-4782. The singing crowd is as much a part of the entertainment as the musicians at this piano bar.
Juanita's Mexican Cafe & Bar, 1300 South Main Street; (501) 372-1228. Half of this Mexican restaurant is devoted to a sound stage where music acts perform.
