At first, the only item on our agenda was to soak up the sun. But once it became clear that everyone was gung ho about the trip, Rhea Leigh realized that this was an opportunity to thank the girls for their friendship, as well as their involvement in the wedding. Although the guests paid their own expenses for the weekend, Rhea Leigh contributed a few surprises as a way of saying thanks for taking the time to join us--sort of a preliminary bridesmaid's gift.

Each girl received a beach weekend bag filled with supplies for a day in the sun--beach towel, sunscreen, hat, and lip balm.
