Lowcountry dishes, visit Jasmine Porch (dinner entrées $21-$33). The
shrimp and grits ($22) matches any found in Charleston.
The best dining experience on the island, by far, is Ocean Room.
This elegant restaurant (jacket required) serves gourmet meals (entrées
$32-$42). So far we’ve fallen in love with the Maine scallops on a pear
salad ($13) and the Kobe beef flatiron steak ($35). When you make your
reservation, request a sofa for two under the domed ceiling. You and your sweetie might like to sit side by side sharing a memorable meal and watching the sun set on another perfect day at Kiawah.
