Forget the idea of separate rooms for separate activities. Interior Designer Ann Nordeen Parker says that Tucker Bayou's family room is a social space and a media space all in one. The flat-screen television hides in a niche behind custom-built panels. They can be opened when it's viewing time and then closed when the focus is on cocktails and conversation.
