A window nook was built to house the new sink area. It sets the work zone out of the traffic path, allowing multiple cooks in the kitchen. The nook also provides more depth and space for additional windows in the long room.
EASY KITCHEN UPGRADES
Colored-glass knobs on drawers and cabinets will add sparkle to your decor and make paint and woodwork look newer.
Paint only one piece of furniture, such as a shelf, plate rack, or table, to contrast with other materials, such as wood.
Add colorful outdoor rugs and runners to the floor. Bonus: Food spills are not a worry.
