For most Macintosh and some PC users a small program, or plug-in,
from iPIX will speed the download time for each of the photos in
this virtual tour. If your computer does not already have the iPIX
plug-in, it will ask you if you'd like to download the plug-in.

While the plug-in downloads quickly, you may want to print out these
instructions for handy reference before you begin.
Detailed installation instructions for Netscape and Internet
Explorer versions 3.0 and higher.
If you are unfamiliar with this process, these instructions will
walk you through it. The iPIX Plug-in will take about 4 minutes to
download with a 56k modem and about 8 minutes with a 28.8 modem. The
installation program will complete in approximately one minute.
To open the iPIX PPC Plug-in installation software, Stuffit
Expander, or a similar BinHex converter, must be installed on your
computer. Stuffit Expander is usually provided with Netscape and
Internet Explorer for the Macintosh. Stuffit Expander is available
at no charge from most Macintosh software archives.
Installing the Plug-in
1. Download the iPIX PowerPC Plug-in (965k) to your hard drive.
2. A dialog box may appear on the screen prompting you to choose a
save location. Write down or remember the location where you save
the file. Click the Save button to download and save the file to
your computer.
Netscape 3: If you are using Netscape 3.0, the file may be saved
in the folder specified by the "Downloads Directory." This is found
under the Options>General Preferences>Applications selection in
your Netscape browser.
Internet Explorer: If you are using Internet Explorer, the file may
be saved in the folder specified in the "Download Options." To
change or verify where your files are saved, look under the Edit>
Preferences>Receiving Files>Download Options selection.
3. After the download is completed, quit your browser and locate the
Install iPIX PPC Plug-in file, double-click on the iPIX icon to
launch the Installer. Press the Continue button on the opening screen.
4. Press the Accept
button after reading the License Agreement.
5. When the dialog box appears, select the browser in which to
install the iPIX Plug-in and click the Install button. If you have
multiple browsers on your computer, you will be prompted to install
the Plug-in for each copy.
6. Press the Quit button to complete the installation. The Plug-in is
now installed. Restart your browser to view iPIX images on the Web.
7. To view iPIX images after installing the iPIX Plug-in, it is
recommended that Macintosh users increase the Preferred Size of
their browsers' memory allocation to a minimum of 16000 Kb. For

Increase Memory
After the plug-in has installed, Macintosh users will need to check
the memory devoted to their browsers. (PC users will not need to do
this.) To do so
1. Quit your browser program.
2. Open the Applications folder on your hard drive.
3. Open the browser folder that's in the Applications folder.
4. Click once on the main folder for that browser.
5. Click on the browser icon. (This will highlight that folder but
will not start the program).
6. Press the Apple and the I keys at the same time. (This will
open your browser's info folder).
7. In this info folder is a window labeled "Show" or "General Information." Click on
the arrow, then click on Memory.
8. You should now see a box labeled "Memory Requirements" or "Memory." Place
your cursor in the Preferred Size window and enter 16000, unless the
number in that window is already greater than 16000.
9. Close the info folder.
10. Restart the browser and begin the tour.
