Study
Originally, the house featured a sunroom, which builder Danny Buchanan and the design team converted to an intimate study that serves both the living room and master suite. Recessed niches are found in the arched openings from the living room. Much of the study's warm character comes from pecky cypress paneling, trim, and doors, giving the room an unexpected counterpoint to its formal fabrics and furniture. Large casement windows let in ample light. Built-in bookcases and comfortable furnishings make this room a family favorite.
