WW Weekly Check-in
Just thought I would start a thread for those of us on WW. Hope everyone is doing well and staying within their points or guidelines. I posted a good pasta salad recipe on the food board - just 3 pts per serving. Would love to hear from anyone else on the plan.

Spreading the Joy:
Having a bad day? Spend a little time with seventh-grade teacher and new grandmother Donna Gardner. Her genuine good attitude about life is contagious.

Take on good health: I feel at my best when my physical, emotional, and spiritual health are all in sync.

Fitness fun: I like anything outdoors. I walk mostly. I also go to an exercise class a couple of days a week for weight training.

De-stress secret: I love to put on an apron and bring out all the ingredients for a great dinner. Dinner table talk with my family helps put my day in perspective.

Pretty inside and out: I'm not much of a girlie girl, so my best beauty tips are to get a good night's sleep, eat right, and exercise. All these things work together to make you feel good, and when you feel good, you look good.

Interesting tidbit: Raising my three children is my greatest achievement. They've grown up to be good people (not perfect!), but people I enjoy spending time with.

Donna's big picture: I try to make time for all the little things, such as visiting with my neighbors in the yard, meeting a friend for coffee, or inviting folks over for dinner spur of the moment.

Healthy Benefits

Getting involved in volunteer work builds social networks, boosts self-esteem, and enhances the immune system.
Playing tennis improves agility, flexibility, and overall body coordination. Engaging in regular exercise improves cardiovascular circulation while decreasing your risk for developing coronary artery disease.
