Cut another long piece of florist wire and make a loop in the middle. Place loop around the plant stake. One at a time, thread three 2 1/2-inch pots onto this wire to form the arm. Using the pliers, twist the end of the wire up into the bottom arm pot to secure. By adjusting the length of the wire, you can control the length of the arm. If you would like a bit of space between the pots, don't twist the wire too tight. Repeat procedure to make the other arm.
