Known affectionately to friends as “The Queen of Stuff,” Susanne collects all sorts of old garden paraphernalia--either treasures she chances upon or things folks drop off at her house. Artistic displays of old nozzles, sprinklers, watering cans, rakes, and clay pots abound. Regular pilgrimages to major antiques markets provide other articles. This is how the outdoor living room, the visual heart of her garden, came to be.
