Most folks, more than likely, have never thought about serving wine with chicken-and-dumplings. Maybe it's the down-home, comforting (I dare say, restorative) perception surrounding this Southern food icon. Please think again. With it's hearty broth, chopped chicken, and tender, slightly sweet dumplings, this dish just screams for the perfect complement in white wine.
