Cheer on your favorite high school, college, or pro team this football season by hosting a spirit-filled tailgate party. We've created agame plan perfect for entertaining in your backyard or on the road with food that's sure to please the biggest fanatic.

Short on time? No worries. We've included simple-to-make recipes that you can prepare the night before the big game, so getting ready is a breeze. Pack two coolers if traveling, one for drinks and one for food. Deck out a portable table in your team's colors with disposable goods such as napkins, plates, cups, and plastic utensils. By keeping it manageable, everyone's a winner.

Don't Forget Dessert
Showing your team spirit couldn't be any easier. Coarse sugar in assorted colors can be purchased from Sweet Celebrations, www.sweetc.com or 1-800-328-6722.

Team Spirit Cupcakes: Purchase 12 cupcakes with vanilla frosting from your local grocery store or bakery. Top with coarse sugar in your team's colors. Tie coordinating colored ribbon around stems of 12 small lollipops; insert stems into center of cupcakes. Makes 12 cupcakes. Prep: 15 min.
