Herbs from Cathryn's lush organic garden make her creative recipes burst with flavor without extra fat and calories.

Cathryn Matthes shares her love of cooking (and eating) with guests of the Hilton Head Health Institute in Hilton Head, South Carolina. As executive chef, Cathryn whips up inviting, nutritious recipes.

She packs her hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations with user-friendly tips. For instance, she challenges her audiences to experiment with new foods to avoid boredom. "My favorite part of the job is helping people," says Cathryn, who recently was designated a certified executive chef by the American Culinary Federation.
