Outdoor Fun
Heber Springs overflows with outside activities. Visit Eden Isle Marina before making a playdate on Greers Ferry Lake. The trusted stop carries everything from pontoon boats ($120 for two hours) to water scooters ($60 per hour). On an island in the middle of the lake, Sugar Loaf Mountain offers a moderate-to-difficult hike for experienced outdoorspeople. Visitors access the island by boat.
Another way to enjoy fall is to spend time at the Collins Creek waterfall in John F. Kennedy Park, which flourishes this time of year. Or rent a rod and reel from The Ozark Angler, and fly-fish on the Little Red River.
