OK, so the apps we’re referring to aren’t the ones that served before an entree—they’re the ones you find on your smartphone. You’re probably already more than familiar with the big ones (Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) but did you know that nearly every restaurant chain has their own smartphone app? They’re free to download, and they’re full of coupons, discounts and loyalty programs that can save you a whole mouthful of money. Mouthwatering right?

1. Buffalo Wild Wings

You get 100 points just for signing up and filling out a profile on the The Blazin’ Rewards app! For every $10 spent earn 100 more. Five lunch-time check-ins earn 300 more points. The rewards include bottles of sauce, beverages, appetizers, desserts and entrees.

2. Chick-fil-A

The more you spend, the more you earn with the Chic-fil-A mobile app. Earn rewards by placing your order using the mobile device or scanning your personal QR code when you visit. Bonus: when you order on your phone you can skip the line!

3. Burger King

Three words are all you need to know about this smartphone app: mobile-only coupons.

4. Whataburger

Simply scan the barcode on your phone with each visit—every five earns you free food!

5. Krispy Kreme

Just signing up and downloading the Krispy Kreme app gets you a free doughnut, ya’ll! Scan your barcode with each purchase to earn points towards free treats. Users also get free gifts on their birthdays.

6. McDonald’s

Micky D’s mobile app is easy to use, plus it features rotating weekly deals and buy-one-get-one promos.

7. Red Robin

Red Robin’s Royalty app gifts users with free burgers on their birthdays, every 10th item free, and a whopping $20 towards their sixth visit.
