Plant Details

Formerly known as Chrysalidocarpus lutescens. From Madagascar. Clumping feather palm grows slowly to 1015 feet or even taller, spreading to at least 8 feet wide. Graceful plant with smooth trunks and yellowish green leaves. Can take dense shade; intolerant of salt. Used in foundation plantings and as a patio plant in the Tropical South. Tricky to maintain indoors. Prone to spider mites as a houseplant.
