All four generations of Bushes gathered together in Texas to witness today’s historical solar eclipse make its way from sea to shining sea.

On Monday afternoon, 93-year-old former president George H.W. Bush shared a sweet photo of his family enjoying the rare solar event—glasses and all.

The 41st president of the United States and his wife Barbara were joined by their son, George W. (the 43rd president), his wife Laura, and their twin daughters Barbara and Jenna. Jenna’s husband Henry Hager, and their daughter Mila, 4, also participated in the once-in-a-lifetime moment.

“Four generations of family taking in the partial eclipse today,” H.W. captioned the photo on Twitter. “Already looking forward to the next one in Texas in 2024!”

Although he’s been in and out of the hospital a few times this year, and is now reliant on a wheelchair, the Bush patriarch appeared to enjoy himself thoroughly. Honestly, who wouldn’t?
