Grab your portable fan and sunscreen, we’re heading to the desert with Lindsey and Eric Bennett for tonight’s season two premiere of Desert Flippers on HGTV. They’ll be battling triple-digit temps in Palm Springs that’ll even make Southerners sweat. Real estate agent Eric and designer Lindsey will be feeling the heat in more than one way as they go to battle with harsh landscapes, droughts, and—shudder—rodent infestation. It’s all in a race against the clock to get the house back on the market and sold for top dollar. Will they do it? Well, we think you know the answer to that.
Tonight, Lindsey’s contractor brother, “Uncle Mike,” will help the two renovate a 2,000-square-footer that includes a dysfunctional layout, road noise, and that rodent infestation we previously mentioned. House flipping is not for the faint of heart.

The result promises to be just the oasis Palm Spring buyers are looking for. Picture open concept living, a large master suite, backyard oasis, pool, and plenty of palm trees. Sound like your dream house for that Florida retirement you’ve been planning? Yeah, us too. For Eric and Lindsey it’s just another day at the office. At the end of the day the Bennetts head home to their three little boys and that, as every Southern mama knows, is when the adventure really begins.
