It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. At least in the freezer aisle at the grocery store.

Yesterday, October 23rd, Blue Bell Ice Cream’s seasonal flavor, Christmas Cookies, returned to store shelves. The flavor weaves three holiday cookies—chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and sugar—into a sugar cookie ice cream base. The seasonal release also gets a jolt of festive color from green icing and red sprinkles.

The beloved Texan creamery has also brought back two more wintry favorites: Peppermint and Peppermint Bark. The former ice cream is a classic hit with peppermint candy bits woven into a blanket of peppermint ice cream. The latter consists of a mint ice cream base studded with dark chocolate chunks, and white chocolate flecks with crushed peppermint candies.

It may only be October, but we’re thinking a trio of ice creams sounds like a pretty good post-dinner treat. Alright, we may even give ourselves an early Christmas gift and whip up a batch of spiced molasses drops to get in the spirit.
