Southern Living food editor Norman King is making his way up to Madison Square Garden in New York City for the 9th annual Big Apple Barbecue Block Party. The event takes place June 11-12, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The country's top pitmasters will be there, showing off their award-winning fare for over 100,000 barbecue lovers. Take in the sights and sounds of the event for free, including live music, engaging food seminars and demonstrations. For only $8 a plate, you can enjoy some of the country's most mouth-watering barbecue.
