NOTICE TO ONLINE ENTRANTS

In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any Sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules; and (ii) withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.

Sweepstakes Entry Period: The Southern Living "Food for Today $500 Grocery Giveaway", ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on Monday, March 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 PM ("ET") on Friday, December 31, 2010.There will be nine (9) Monthly Drawings during the Sweepstakes Entry Period (see below for details).

Eligibility: The Southern Living "Food for Today $500 Grocery Giveaway" (the "Sweepstakes" or the "Promotion") is open to legal residents of the contiguous 48 United States and the District of Columbia (U.S.), age 18 or older at the time of entry. Void outside the U.S., in HI, AK, Puerto Rico, and where prohibited by law. Employees of Southern Living, a division of the Time Inc. LifeStyle Group (the "Sponsor") and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of, and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
 
 How to Enter: There are 2 ways to enter.
 
 Method #1: Visit www.timeinc.net/foodfortodaygrocerygiveaway and follow all entry instructions to complete and submit the online entry form. Online entries must be received between 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on Monday, March 1, 2010, and 11:59 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on Friday, December 31, 2010 (the "Sweepstakes Entry Period"). Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy. Limit: One online entry per email address per day. In the event of a dispute, online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
 
 Method #2: Mail a postcard, including your name, complete address, daytime phone number and email, to: The Southern Living "Food for Today $500 Grocery Giveaway", c/o US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Co., 625 Panorama Trail, Building 2 Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14625. Each postcard must be mailed separately and must be postmarked between Monday, March 1, 2010, and 11:59 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on Friday, December 31, 2010, and received by Thursday, January 6, 2011. You may enter as many times as you wish by mail. Photocopied, illegible, or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or postage-due mailed entries.

Prize Drawings: There will be nine (9) Entry Periods during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. To be eligible for the First Entry Period, your online entry must be received between 12:01 AM (ET) on 3/1/2010 and 11:59 PM (ET) on 4/30/2010 ("First Entry Period"). For each subsequent Entry Periods thereafter, your online entry must be received between 12:01 AM (ET) on the first day of that applicable month and 11:59 PM (ET) on the last day of that same month ("Monthly Entry Period"). Non-winning entries from the First Entry Period will not be rolled over to the subsequent Monthly Entry Period. Non-winning entries from the Monthly Entry Periods, beginning on May 1, 2010 will not be rolled over to subsequent Monthly Entry Periods. They will only be eligible to win a prize for the month during which they are received. If no entries are received for a given Monthly Entry Period, that month's prize will be awarded as an additional prize in the following Monthly Entry Period, provided a sufficient number of entries are received for that month's entry period, unless no entries are received. In which case, then the previous month's entries, if any, will be used to award the prizes. This process will be repeated until all monthly prizes are awarded. If no entries are received for the last Monthly Entry Period, then the final monthly prizes will be awarded from among all eligible entries received in the previous months. A Monthly Entry Period winner will not be eligible for any further Monthly Entry Period Drawings.

Prizes & Approximate Retail Values ("ARV"): Nine (9) prizes with a TOTAL ARV of $4,815.00 will be awarded.

Prizes/Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): There will be nine (9) Grand Prizes (one prize will be awarded per Monthly Entry Period). Each potential winner will receive one (1) Southern Living cookbook (ARV: $35.00 and selection of book is at the Sponsor's sole discretion) plus One (1) $500 American Express Gift Card (ARV: $500.00) to be used to purchase groceries. ARV of each Grand Prize: $535.00. Total ARV of all prizes is $4,815.00. 

Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift Card usage subject to the complete terms and conditions listed on the redemption instructions provided to each winner.

Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received, estimated at 1:10,000 for any prize. However, the actual odds of winning any prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each Monthly Prize Drawing.
 
Winner Notification/Random Drawing: Potential winners ("winners") will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Random drawing will be conducted within 10 days after the final monthly drawing period, on or about January 10, 2011, as stated above, by the US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Company, a representative from the Sponsor whose decision is final and binding. Winners will be notified in writing by email and/or mail. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if a selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the corresponding prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected in a separate random drawing. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Prizes are non-assignable or transferable. No substitution is permitted except if prize or prize component is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of each winner. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use each winner's name, prize won, hometown, likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.

Prize winners will be notified by email and requested to confirm their mailing address via return email. Prizes will be sent to the address on the entry form or new address provided via email within 4-6 weeks of winner being verified.

Prize Conditions: If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, his/her prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who must execute the Releases on the minor winner's behalf. Prizes are non-assignable or transferable to another individual, except to a surviving spouse. Merchandise prizes are not redeemable for cash, and no substitution is permitted except if prize offered is unavailable, in which case the Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local sales and income taxes, if applicable. 

Winner acknowledges that the Sponsor and all other businesses affiliated with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner are responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of the prize being offered. Entry and acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsor or their agent(s) to use winner's name, prize won, hometown and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. All prizes are guaranteed to be awarded.
 
 General: All entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and release the Sponsor and their affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Giveaway, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation in the Promotion, and the acceptance and use/misuse of the prize offered. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer,
administration of the Promotion or in the announcement of any prize.
 
 Privacy: By entering and providing the required entry information, Entrants acknowledge that Southern Living may also send information, samples or special offers it believes may be of interest to Entrant, or other information or goods offered by its marketing partners and Sponsors. Personal information collected from online entrants is subject to the Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.southernliving.com.
