As far as we’re concerned, fall starts as soon as the pumpkin-flavored treats start hitting grocery store shelves, which means it’s officially autumn down south. Even though there’s technically still a month to go until the end of the summer, everyone from M&Ms to Yankee Candles (and Starbucks, obviously) is already rolling out their takes on the seasonal favorite. Not that we’re complaining, of course.

With the launch of its new seasonal Pumpkin Pie flavor, Kit Kat is the latest brand to dive into the world of all things pumpkin. A Hershey Company rep tells SouthernLiving.com that the decadent treat “features crisp wafers covered with a fall-favorite Pumpkin Pie flavored crème,” which is all we need to get our mouths watering.
