[MUSIC] Decisions about siding and which direction to turn it, I think, has a lot to do with what you're trying to achieve with the house. I mean, so much of architecture is about lines. And how that relates to the base of the house versus the torso of the house versus the top of the house. In the Southern Living house you have a grounded base. Which is brick and brick is essentially a horizontal material but we wanted it to have a verticality to it. Vertical lines just like in fashion are going to make you seem slimmer and taller. Whereas horizontal lines, you know, tend to connect more with the environment. [MUSIC]
