Tips for Bedroom Window Treatments

Find out how to optimize the light from your bedroom windows with these tips from designer Phoebe Howard.

When I first really looked into the plans for this room, I knew that I wanted to use this sticking stripe and I knew that I wanted to use that in a major way, but there were high windows over the bed, then there were high windows on the opposite wall. So my solution was, behind the bed, that I would make curtain panels that pulled so only the middle window was exposed, and then on the opposite wall, to let in more light, to accommodate for me covering up those two windows, I had Roman shades that stayed most of the time up so that you're not blocking any light in there. That was sort of my curtain solution to a window challenge.
