The Southern Living Guide to Mayonnaise BrandsEssential reading on a most essential condiment
[MUSIC] We're so lucky in the South that we could utilize our outdoor spaces for so much of the year. Porches here are so large that we had room for sitting areas, we had room for dining areas. [MUSIC] We have a couple of chaises where you can just sit and relax and maybe have an afternoon nap. One of the things that's quintessentially southern is a porch swing and this is just a perfectly sized Charleston bed swing in miniature form, which I think is, is a great looking piece. The dining room opens onto the back porch. You walk outside and immediately you have two sofas. We've chosen this big wide gray and white stripe, and then solid and print pillows to compliment that. We have this pretty wood x base teak coffee table which will hold up very well outside, and then these great looking nesting tables which you can pull apart and move 'em around as you wish. On the opposite end we have an outdoor TV. There are four chairs arranged in a circle around a round coffee table. This is a great conversation area and a great place to sit and watch the TV as well. Both of these seating spaces have an outdoor rug, and they're polypropylene, so you could literally take a hose to them, so it's completely carefree. I like to decorate an outdoor space to be just as comfortable and just as nice as an indoor space. It follows all the same kind of guidelines that I use for the inside. Just comfortable, just inviting, everything an outdoor space should be.
