Our team, working with Web partner myhomeideas.com, found four locations that offer a great lifestyle and homes that showcase wonderful design. Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, has long been a reader favorite because of its beautiful gardens and fun family activities. The cottage here is situated to take advantage of both. The South Carolina Lowcountry offers the casual lifestyle so often reflected on our pages. That's why we are building a cottage in Habersham, outside Beaufort, South Carolina. Those of you who love wide-open spaces should check out our house at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas. And, if a mountain getaway is more your style, don't miss the retreat at Whisper Mountain, outside of Asheville, North Carolina. (The plans will be available in early 2009.)
