The kiddos will love making this red, white, and blue game set, almost as much as they’ll love playing with it.
-Unfinished wood tray with handles (found in craft stores)
-Chalkboard paint (we used Benjamin Moore Red Ruby)
-Sponge paint brush
-Cotton string (we used white clothesline-type cord and blue/white cotton twine)
-Shells or river rocks
Paint the entire tray with chalkboard paint.
Wrap the two types of string around handle, hot glue ends down underneath.
3. Draw tic tac toe or checkerboard inside tray with chalk
4. Substitute shells or river rocks for checkers
