Gather Supplies

To force branches to look like this forsythia (Forsythia x intermedia), you’ll need these supplies:

  • Budded Branches (at least 12 inches long)
  • Pruners
  • Bucket
  • Warm Water
  • Bleach
  • Garden Twine
  • Cut Flower Food (We ordered ours from afloral.com.)
  • Sturdy Vase
