Rooftop Garden

You don’t even need a yard. All it takes is a roof and the right containers.

Try This
Maybe you can’t plant a garden on your roof, but you can grow one for sure on your porch or deck. Just plant an EarthBox. Several of our editors report smashing results. An EarthBox consists of a plastic, rectangular container (either green, terra-cotta colored, or white) with a water reservoir in the bottom and a plastic mulch cover on top. Just fill the container with potting mix, and add fertilizer. The system waters and feeds plants automatically. All you have to do is periodically fill the reservoir. Casters on the bottom make the EarthBox easy to move. To learn more visit www.earthbox.com.
