Measuring 48 inches wide, 36 inches deep, and 36 inches tall, it?s topped with a ready-made butcher-block surface. Two drawers and a slatted wood shelf add storage.

The base is painted to match the cabinets in the kitchen, but for a true custom look, you could paint it a fresh color. You could also pick a solid-surface, laminate, or granite countertop in lieu of the butcher block.
